If you write to me
The contact form sends your name, email, company (if you give one) and message to a private database at Supabase. I use them only to reply to you. They aren’t shared, sold or added to a mailing list, and the form doesn’t save your IP address or browser.
Messages stay there until I delete them. To have yours deleted, email me at alex.trh.dev@gmail.com.
Counting visits
Vercel, which hosts the site, counts page views with Web Analytics and measures how fast pages load with Speed Insights. Neither uses cookies. A page view records the page, the site that sent you, your rough location (country, region and city), and your device, system and browser. Vercel tells visitors apart by a hash of the request that it discards after 24 hours, so the counts aren’t tied to you or your IP address.
In your browser
If you choose light or dark, your browser remembers it. For the length of a visit it also remembers that the opening animation has played. Neither leaves your device.
Who else sees requests
Like any website, the companies that deliver it see your IP address when your browser asks for a page: Vercel for the pages, and Cloudflare for the pictures and the résumé, which come from assets.alexander-hung.com. The fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
